It Began in the Forest

The Coed Collection didn’t start with sketches or colour palettes - it began with feeling.

In truth, it began with walks through the forests at home. The hush between the trees, the scent of rain on bark, the way light filtered through the leaves. That quiet rhythm of nature - unhurried, grounding and alive - became the heartbeat of this collection.

"Traveling beyond home, we found ourselves drawn to beautiful objects that echoed the natural world, shaped by human hands with the same patience and rhythm we found in nature."

A Love for Heritage

Through travelling, our appreciation for culture, heritage, and traditional craftsmanship has deepened, and for the universal language of making that connects us all around the world.

We were drawn to the traditions, care, and stories these made objects carry. From Hungarian dough bowls to Moroccan cushions, heritage pieces hold a story of its maker and the landscapes it comes from.

Woven in Wales

In Wales, pride in tradition and cultural heritage runs deep. From the centuries-old practice of hand-carved love spoons to the rhythmic hum of Welsh woollen mills, generations of skill and care live on in every piece. The love spoons, carved with symbols of meaning, and the blankets, woven slowlyand deliberately, are more than functional objects - they are threads connecting what was with what remains, carrying story, connection, and meaning across time.

Gathered Beyond Wales

The collection travels beyond Wales, reaching Hungary, France, Portugal, Morocco, and Vietnam, with each piece carrying its own story. From Hungary, antique dough bowls once used in family kitchens, their worn surfaces rich with memory.

From Portugal and France, vintage breadboards that have shaped countless loaves and shared tables. From Morocco, handwoven cushions crafted under the golden sun.

And from Northern Vietnam, an antique pot passed down through generations, and a  ceramic leaf dish handcrafted by a devoted father in the Lao Cai Province.

Rooted in Stillness

Every object in The Coed Collection carries a quiet rhythm. The curve of a vessel echoing a river stone, the grain of elm mirroring tree bark, the marks of a board recalling the passing of many hands. Distinct, yet connected, each piece is rooted in the same stillness. Together, they remind us that beauty doesn’t rush - it's gathered, layer by layer, over time.

A Reflection of Belonging

Coed, meaning Trees in Welsh (the oldest Celtic language still spoken) is a reminder of our roots and to appreciate the cultures and landscapes that shape us all. These pieces bridge nature, heritage, and home, showing that the calm and connection we seek outside can also live within our walls.

Bringing the Calm of Nature Home

Through The Coed Collection, we honour the shared language of making - the ties between people, places, and generations. Every piece carries memory and meaning, bringing the rhythm of nature and heritage into homes that feel grounded, soulful, and full of story.
